CSN in Thailand: Global Business
Spend two weeks immersed in Thai culture learning about the intersection between business operations and sustainability! Through a series of guest speakers, company visits, case studies, and presentations, students on this experience will learn about Thailand’s business environment and the opportunities and threats located within. In Thailand students will also take part in authentic cultural activities including but not limited to Thai boxing, dancing, cooking, and massage.
Highlights include:
- Explore Bangkok and Chonburi with guided excursions that showcase Thailand’s diverse landscapes and vibrant communities
- Experience Thailand’s rich heritage through cultural activities such as traditional performances, cooking, boxing, and Thai massages
- Broaden your global perspective by networking with students from around the world
CSN in Mexico: Mayan Heritage in the Yucatan
This international experience brings the Popul Vuh, a collection of oral traditions of the Quiche, one of the Mayan civilizations, to life! Participants will compare and contrast myths found within the text and explore topics such as mythology, culture, creationism, deities, migration and settlement prior to Spanish colonization, and more.
Highlights Include:
- Exploration of Mayan culture in modern day society through people, gastronomy, langauge and more!
- Visits to famous sites such as Chichen Itza, Ek Balam, and Yodzonot
- Visit to several museums including Mayan Wolrd Museum of Merida and the Museum of the City of Merida
